All articles are published under the most flexible reuse standard \u2013 the&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/creativecommons.org\/licenses\/by\/4.0\/\" target=\"_blank\">CC BY license<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>All papers are published free of charge, without any\nhidden cost or article processing charges (APC).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-accent-1-color has-text-color\"><strong>Journals Published by AMG Transcend\nAssociation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seven journal titles are currently published by AMG Transcend Association and are available online in open access format. We continuously launch new journals in response to academic developments, and to be able to serve additional research communities and their needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-accent-1-color has-text-color\"><strong>AMG Transcend Association Editorial\nOffices<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AMG Transcend Association is headquartered in Bucharest, Romania. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The in-house\nstaff consists of volunteers Assistant Editors, English Editors, Copyeditors\nand Editor in Chief. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Editorial\nBoards are comprised of collaborating editors who are generally employed at\nacademic institutions or corporate research facilities located all over the\nworld. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The contact\nwith the in-house editorial staff is mainly by e-mail and\/or telephone,\npublished on the website. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Assistant Editors process manuscripts through the peer-review\nand production procedures; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>English Editors and Copyeditors are responsible for putting accepted content into a publishable format (full-text PDF, XML, and HTML versions).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-accent-1-color has-text-color\"><strong>Editorial Process, Peer-Review, and Production<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Articles submitted to our journals are subjected to strict peer-reviewing, a process which is single-blind peer-review (the reviewers know the authors\u2019 identities, but the authors do not know the reviewers\u2019 identities). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The\u00a0Instructions for Authors\u00a0on the website of each journal guide authors on how to prepare and submit their manuscripts.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once a manuscript is submitted, the submission is received by the in-house Editor in Chief who will subsequently coordinate the whole editorial process for the manuscript: peer-review, decision-making, possible authors\u2019 revision, manuscript acceptance, copyediting, English editing, proofreading, and final publication. An in-house Assistant Editor will be assigned to the submitted article and will send review invitations. At least two reports per manuscript are collected for each manuscript. Reviewers must have not published with the authors in the previous five years, and have recent publications in the field of the submitted manuscript.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Editor-in-Chief,\nGuest Editor, or a suitable editorial board member can make the final\nacceptance or rejection decision for a manuscript, usually after author\nrevision. We typically allow no more than two rounds of major revisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After acceptance of an article for publication, the in-house editorial staff will organize the production of the paper, which entails copyediting, English editing, and final production in preparation for publication on the journal website. All journals are structured in yearly volumes and either monthly or quarterly issues. Nevertheless, articles are published online immediately after acceptance and production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-accent-1-color has-text-color\"><strong><em>Editor-in-Chief<\/em><\/strong><strong>&nbsp;Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\u00a0<em>Editor-in-Chief<\/em>\u00a0is the head of the journal and is mainly responsible for the scientific quality of the journal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other responsibilities consist in the assisting of the Editorial Office in the management of the journal, concerning aspects like (\u00b7) scientific decisions about the journal&#8217;s scope; (\u00b7) inviting distinguished scientists to join the editorial board; (\u00b7) suggesting topics for special issues; (\u00b7) assisting the\u00a0<em>Guest Editors<\/em>\u00a0in the setup of special issues; (\u00b7) overviewing the editorial process for individual manuscripts (mainly by taking the final decision whether a paper can be published after peer-review and revisions).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<em>Editor-in-Chief<\/em>&nbsp;position\nis honorary. The initial term for the&nbsp;<em>Editor-in-Chief <\/em>position is\ntwo years and can be renewed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-accent-1-color has-text-color\"><strong>Editorial Board Member Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among an Editorial Board member responsibilities are (\u00b7) review one or two manuscripts per year; (\u00b7) edit a special issue on a topic related to his or her research interests; (\u00b7) input or feedback regarding new regulations; (\u00b7) help to promote the journal among their peers or at conferences. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The communication\nwith Editorial Board members is done primarily by E-mail, published on the\nwebsite. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The initial\nterm for an Editorial Board membership is two years and can be renewed. An\nEditorial Board member may also step down from the position at any time if he\nor she feels overloaded by the requests from the journal\u2019s Editorial Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-accent-1-color has-text-color\"><strong><em>Guest Editor<\/em><\/strong><strong>&nbsp;Responsibility \/ Guest Editing a Special Issue<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Guest Editors are\ncollaborating scholars who edit a <strong>Special issue<\/strong> and invite colleagues from the\nsame research field to contribute an article on a topic within their expertise.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among the&nbsp;<em>Guest\nEditor <\/em>responsibilities are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(\u00b7) to work together with\nthe Editorial Office to prepare a description and keywords for the special\nissue webpage. We aim for at least ten\narticles published per special issue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(\u00b7) to write an editorial paper for the special issue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(\u00b7) to make decisions on the acceptance of\nmanuscripts submitted to his or her special issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Papers belonging to a\nspecial issue are published online in the journal immediately after acceptance\nand collected together on the special issue webpage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Guest Editors should not hold conflicts of interest with authors whose work they are assessing, e.g. if they are from the same institution or collaborate closely.
